The Story

December, 1991... I set foot on a plane and left Australian shores for the very first time! A family vacation to Europe was to set the stage for a lifetime obsession with travel!

​

We landed in Amsterdam and immediately were surrounded by the sounds of a foreign language, the freezing European winter temperatures and so many delightful European Christmas traditions! The sights, sounds and smells were all strange and exhilirating!

​

After exploring the city we ventured further afield to see the windmills and then on to my father's birthplace! A trip filled with heritage and history in every way possible!

​

The journey then continued on along the Rhein river, with the delights of Germany's Christmas markets including gluhwein, lebkuchen and our favourite... crepes! Every aspect of it was delightful!

​

From there we continued into France and onward to Paris! Wandering the cobblestone streets with croissants and baguettes fresh from the boulangerie (bakery), there is nothing as delightful as stumbling across a view of the Parisienne skyline with the Eiffel Tower front and centre!

​

FROM THESE FIRST STEPS VENTURING INTO THE WORLD.... I became a world traveler at every chance!

• 1995: 2 months in India - New Delhi, Agra (incl Taj Mahal), Bombay (now Mumbai) and Pune

• 2000: 6-week Coach Tour in Europe! - 16 countries - England, France, Spain, Monaco, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Germany, Netherlands & Belgium

• 2003: Package Tour to Egypt - All-inclusive Resort on the Red Sea along with a trip to Cairo with Nile River Cruise, The Egyptian Museum and exploring the Pyramids!

• 2005: FIRST CRUISE!! Radisson Seven Seas - Radisson Diamond - 7 Day Eastern Caribbean

• 2010: MSC - Fantasia - 11 Day Mediterranean/Canary Islands - MSC Yacht Club

• 2012: MSC - Divina/Splendida - Back to Back 7 Day Western/7 Day Eastern Mediterranean - MSC Yacht Club

• 2013: Holland America - Oosterdam - 11 Day South Pacific Treasures

• 2013: Royal Caribbean - Allure of the Seas - 7 Day Western Caribbean

• 2014: NCL - Norwegian Breakaway - 11 Day Southern Caribbean - NCL Haven

• 2015: Celebrity - Summit - 14 Day Canada & New England

• 2016: Celebrity - Solstice - 12 Day South Pacific & Fiji

• 2018: MSC - Seaside - 7 Day Eastern Caribbean - MSC Yacht Club

CRUISING HAD BECOME BY FAR ONE OF MY FAVOURITE MODES OF TRAVEL....

​

However in between I managed to travel extensively in the United States as well. During this time, I met my husband and we married in 2019 and I moved to the USA to be with him!

​

While the pandemic certainly pushed pause on many travels, it certainly did not dampen my love for it! Indeed, it bolstered my desire to travel and to help others enjoy it as much as I do and so I made the decision to start my own travel agency!

​
